About The HPW Foundation:
Don Walston, one of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston's founders, formed the
HPW Foundation in the late 1990's so that sales associates and employees could have
a forum, through the company, for serving the communities in which they live. Since
its inception, the HPW Foundation has given more than $688,000 to local,
not-for-profit organizations to benefit countless individuals throughout the
Triangle. Recipients include Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation, The Frankie Lemmon Foundation, Special Olympics North Carolina, The
MeFine Foundation and Second Chance Pet Adoptions. In addition to charitable and
non-profit organizations, the HPW Foundation makes donations as needs occur. Funds
have been contributed to assist families affected by devastation from natural
disasters, including the excessive hurricane and flood damage that has affected our
state in recent years.
